New Secretary For Season 2010
January 15th, 2010
source: President

Dear supporters / Players,

Regretfully, I must announce that Club Secretary Brett McNeil has recently accepted a senior executive role with BHP in Bunbury, Western Australia. He and his wife Amanda will be leaving Melbourne late in January to take up his new role. This has forced his resignation from the position of Club Secretary for the 2010 season.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Brett for his incredible commitment to our club over the last season as Secretary and as runner for both Senior and reserve grade teams during the 2008 season. As most who know him would be aware, Brett has been a thoroughly organised and dedicated administrator for our club and he will be sorely missed.
Please join me in wishing him well with his move and in his new role with BHP.
Brett will be at our Training session on Wednesday, 20th January, where we will have a BBQ to send him off in the true Hampton style. Please do your very best to be there.
Brett’s departure allows us to appoint someone new to the position of Secretary for 2010.
I am very pleased to announce that Kerrie Brindell has accepted the position and will take over in the role effective immediately. Kerrie came to us as Head Trainer in 2009 and did a spectacular job in getting the training department organised in a way it hasn’t been for a number of years. Kerrie has also been elected to the committee for 2010, where her specialist portfolio is to include Community Development. She will continue with this role, whilst also managing the training department, now also taking on the responsibility of club Secretary. No doubt, Kerrie will be a very busy person at our club this season and I ask you to support her in any way you can as she continues to make a difference for the Hampton Football Club in 2010.
Let’s continue to work together to make the club a great place to belong in 2010.

Go Hammers!!!!
