January 15th, 2010 | Monday 18th Feb Training Kicks off for Season 2010


Seniors/Reserves/Colts training will resume on Monday 18th Jan at 6pm. Training will be at our home ground.
We will then continue training each Monday & Wednesday night as we were prior to the break. The surface of our ground is looking fantastic and all feedback from the council & the curator has been really positive. It will be good to be back playing home games at peterson street. November 27th, 2009 | GROUND UPDATE FROM BAYSIDE CITY COUNCIL


The oval has been recently mown and fertilised. The weeds were starting to die as a result of the recent herbicide application. The couch however, was showing no signs of phytotoxicity from the herbicide application and continued to grow vigorously and was close to completely covering the surface. At this stage it is uncertain whether the one application of Spearhead will completely control all broadleaf weeds. This will become more apparent over the next couple of weeks. There was concern that the weed population may affect the couch coverage close to the cricket pitch. However, close examination suggested that any weak areas would quickly fill in from the couch already present
